In order to form homogeneous groups, our schools International House Paris / Nice (Liberation) / Bordeaux / Biarritz / Lyon have set up an online level test to be carried out before your arrival.
In addition, an oral evaluation will be carried out on the first day of class to:
- validate your oral level,
- check that your level has not changed since the written test,
- know your expectations and needs.
Classes accommodate a maximum of 12 students to promote interactions and exchanges during class. The teacher will focus on you and your language needs to design and plan their course. This pedagogical method requires a significant commitment on your part in your learning of French.
Our practical approach aims to make you independent during your stay in France by allowing you to understand simple messages and respond appropriately.
To measure your progress and ensure the effectiveness of your learning, weekly assessments will be implemented in all classes. In case of difficulties, the teacher can adjust his teaching or offer you personalized tutoring.
At the end of your program, a certificate of attendance and participation specifying the number of hours of lessons followed and your level in French will be given to you.
