Art is everywhere in the capital where the cultural offer is so rich. You can immerse yourself in it during your stay, thanks to our “French & Museums” program which will give you access to more than 50 monuments and museums in Paris and its region, such as the Louvre Museum, the Pompidou Center, the Quai Branly Museum, the Orsay Museum, the Picasso Museum, the Rodin Museum, the Palace of Versailles, the Palace of Fontainebleau, etc.

If the Bordeaux region is known for its wines, the city is just as famous for its culture and its museums.

This program will give you access to the unmissable Cité Du Vin but also to about fifteen other museums and monuments which will allow you to better discover the history of the city and the region, such as the museum of contemporary art, Musée d’Aquitaine, museum of decorative fine arts, Bassins de lumières…

An access for 3 days to La Cité du Vin, Les Bassins des Lumières, 15 museums and monuments
A visit accompanied by a representative of the IH Bordeaux school
An access to our Online School with a virtual visit and a thematic meeting

General French – 16 lessons per week

Do you want to speak French like a Parisian or like a Bordeaux? Join International House Paris or International House Bordeaux!

We offer courses for all levels, from elementary A2 to upper-intermediate level B2. 16 lessons of 45 minutes each week, spread over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) in the morning.

The objective is to immerse you in a French-speaking language and culture to enable you to get by on a daily basis.

You will be placed in a group of similar level after an oral test on Monday morning. And when you leave, you will receive a certificate which will mention the number of courses taken and the level of French reached.

And in addition to face-to-face courses, we also offer 4 online courses: 2 virtual visit courses and 2 online thematic meeting courses.

our objectives

In order to constitute homogeneous classes, International House Paris and International House Bordeaux have developed an online level test to be carried out before your arrival.

In addition, an oral evaluation will be carried out on the first day of class to:

validate your oral level,
check that your level has not changed since the written test,
identify your expectations and needs.

Classes will accommodate a maximum of 12 students to promote exchanges and interactions during class.

The teacher will mainly focus on you and your language needs to design and plan his course. This pedagogical methodology implies a substantial commitment on your part in your learning of the French language.

Our practical approach aims to make you independent during your stay in France, by allowing you to understand simple messages and respond appropriately.

In order to guarantee the effectiveness of your learning and to measure your progress, weekly evaluations will be organized in all classes. In case of difficulties, the teacher will be able to adapt his teaching or offer you personalized tutoring.

At the end of the program, a certificate of attendance and participation specifying the number of hours of lessons followed and your level in French will be given to you.
