French & Jazz Festival in Nice

Music lovers and more particularly jazz lovers, you will be delighted by participating in this event which brings together artists from all musical currents from Neneh Cherry, to iIbrahim Maalouf or even Angèle, Black Eyed Peas, but also Earth Wind and Fire, Ben Harper ..There will be something for everyone.

You will also have the privilege of being accompanied by a representative of our school who is also a musician. During this week punctuated by jazz, you can practice your French and enjoy a 75-year-old Jazz festival! and you will thus combine the pleasure of speaking French with a passion for music.

The program at a glance

International House Nice (Liberation) offers you in this program:

16 general French lessons per week
A stoll in Nice and its surroundings accompanied by a representative of our school IH Nice (Liberation)
A cultural sheet to play a treasure hunt in the city with educational support (lexicon, historical content, etc.) to explore a district, a museum, typical places in the region
An access pass to the Jazz Festival during 5 days accompanied by a musician, representative of our school
An access to our online school with a virtual visit workshop and a thematic meeting

General French – 16 lessons per week

Want to speak French like a pro? International House Nice (Liberation) is there for you!

We offer courses for all levels, from elementary A2 to upper-intermediate level B2. With 16 lessons of 45 minutes each week, spread over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) in the morning, you will be able to immerse yourself in the French language and culture to become independent on a daily basis.

You will be placed in a group of similar level after an oral test on Monday morning. And when you leave, you will receive a certificate which will mention the number of courses taken and the level of French reached.

In addition to face-to-face courses, we also offer 4 online courses: 2 virtual visit courses and 2 online thematic meeting courses.

our objectives

In order to constitute classes of homogeneous levels, International House Nice (Liberation) has developed an online level test, which you will have to take before your arrival.

In addition, an oral evaluation will be organized on the first day of class for:

validate your oral level,
check that your level has not changed since the written test,
identify your expectations and needs.

Each class has no more than 12 students in order to promote exchanges and interactions during class. The teacher will mainly focus on your language needs to adapt and plan his course.

This approach will require a significant commitment on your part to get the most out of your French learning.

Our practical teaching method aims to make you independent during your stay in France, by allowing you to understand simple messages and respond to them in a relevant way.

Weekly assessments in all classes will be organized to better measure your progress and guarantee the effectiveness of your learning. If necessary, the teacher will be able to adjust his teaching or offer you personalized tutoring.

At the end of your stay, we will give you a certificate of attendance and participation, which will specify the number of hours of lessons attended and your level of French reached.
