The program at a glance

International House Paris offers you in this program:

16 general French lessons per week
A cultural sheet to play a treasure hunt in the city with educational support (lexicon, historical content, etc.) to explore a district, a museum, typical places in the region
A prestigious show (opera, ballet, concert, musical, etc.)
Admission to the theater
Entrance to a museum, an exhibition or a visit to an unusual place with a representative of our IH Paris school
An access to our online school with a virtual visit workshop and a thematic meeting

General French – 16 lessons per week

You want to improve your French? International House Paris is the ideal place for you!

We offer courses for all levels, from beginner A2 to advanced B2. With 16 lessons of 45 minutes each week, spread over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) in the morning, you will be immersed in a French-speaking environment to allow you to get by on a daily basis.

You will be placed in a group of similar level after an oral test on Monday morning. And when you leave, you will receive a certificate which will mention the number of courses taken and the level of French reached.

And as a bonus, we also offer 4 online courses: 2 virtual visit courses and 2 thematic meeting courses.

our objectives

To ensure an even distribution of students, International House Paris has created an online level test to be taken before your arrival.

On the first day of class, an oral evaluation will be organized for:

confirm your oral level,
make sure that your level has not changed since the written test,
understand your expectations and needs.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students in order to promote exchanges and interactions during lessons.

The teacher focuses on your language needs to develop and plan his course. Your commitment to your French language learning is crucial.

Our teaching method aims to make you independent during your stay in France, by allowing you to understand simple messages and respond to them in a relevant way.

To assess your progress and ensure the effectiveness of your training, weekly evaluations are organized in all classes. If necessary, the teacher can refocus his course or offer you individual support.

At the end of your stay, we will give you a certificate of attendance and participation specifying the number of hours of lessons followed and your level of French reached.
