The Nice carnival is the biggest carnival in France, and one of the most famous in the world with the carnivals of Rio and Venice.

Come take part in one of the most popular festivals in the world, with parades, battles of flowers, and good atmosphere… A tradition of more than 800 years!

The program at a glance

International House Nice (Liberation) offers you in this program:

16 general French lessons per week
A stroll in Nice and its surroundings accompanied by a representative of our school IH Nice (Liberation)
A cultural sheet to play a treasure hunt in the city with educational support (lexicon, historical content, etc.) to explore a district, a museum, typical places in the region
A participation in the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Carnival of Nice “The King of Treasures of the World” with Corso and Bataille des Fleurs
An access to our online school with a virtual visit workshop and a thematic meeting

Activities can be spread over 2 weeks.

General French – 16 lessons per week

Weekly classes at our school International House Nice (Liberation) are open from elementary level A2 to intermediate-upper level B2.

With 16 lessons of 45 minutes per week, spread over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) in the morning, you will be immersed in a 100% French-speaking environment to allow you to get by on a daily basis.

You will be placed in a group of similar level after an oral test on Monday morning. And when you leave, you will receive a certificate which will mention the number of courses taken and the level of French reached.

And in addition to face-to-face courses, we also offer 4 online courses: 2 virtual visit courses and 2 online thematic meeting courses.

In addition, we offer you:
– 1 free personal access to your FLOnline platform as soon as you register
– 2 lessons of virtual guided tour per week
– 2 lessons of online thematic meeting

You may be required to buy pedagogical material (books). Prices vary according to your level.

our objectives

In order to ensure a homogeneous composition of the groups, International House Nice (Liberation) has set up an online level test to be carried out before your arrival.

An oral evaluation will also be organized on the first day of class for:

validate your oral level,
ensure the stability of your level since the written test,
understand your needs and expectations.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 12 students to facilitate exchanges and interactions during lessons.

The teacher focuses on your linguistic needs in order to adapt his course accordingly. Your personal commitment to learning the French language is essential.

Our pedagogical approach is pragmatic to make you independent during your stay in France. You will be able to understand simple messages and respond appropriately.

Weekly evaluations are set up in all classes to measure your progress and guarantee the effectiveness of your training. If necessary, the teacher can reorient his teaching or offer you personalized follow-up.

At the end of your stay, you will receive a certificate of attendance and participation specifying the number of hours of lessons attended as well as your level of French reached.
