General French – 16 lessons per week

Do you want to master the French language? International House Biarritz is there for you! We have courses for all levels, from beginner A2 to advanced B2.

You will have 16 lessons of 45 minutes each week, spread over 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) in the morning. The objective is to immerse you in a French-speaking environment to enable you to get by on a daily basis.

You will be placed in a group of similar level after an oral test on Monday morning. And when you leave, you will receive a certificate which will mention the number of courses taken and the level of French reached.

And in addition to face-to-face courses, we also offer 4 online courses: 2 virtual visit courses and 2 online thematic meeting courses.

In addition, we offer you:
– 1 free personal access to your FLOnline platform as soon as you register
– 2 lessons of virtual guided tour per week
– 2 lessons of online thematic meeting

You may be required to buy pedagogical material (books). Prices vary according to your level.

our objectives

To form homogeneous classes, International House Paris has set up an online level test that you will have to take before your arrival.

On the first day of class, an oral evaluation will be organized for:

validate your oral level,
check that your level has not changed since the written test,
identify your needs and expectations.

Classes have a maximum size of 12 students to encourage discussion and interaction during class.

The teacher will focus on your language needs to develop and plan his course. Your commitment is crucial to get the most out of your French learning.

Our practical teaching method aims to make you independent during your stay in France, by allowing you to understand simple messages and respond in a relevant way.

Weekly assessments in all classes will measure your progress and ensure the effectiveness of your learning. The teacher will be able to adjust his teaching or offer you personalized tutoring if necessary.

At the end of your program, you will receive a certificate of attendance and participation which will indicate the number of hours of lessons attended and your level of French reached.
